RENATO VALTERZA:As an Italian photographer based in Torino and involved in stock, nature and travel photography Renato Valterza grew up in Piedmont (Italy) with a love for the outdoors. Renato first picked up a camera when he was fourteen and started in publishing,as an amateur,his own first pictures while completing a degree in engineering at the University in Torino.  
In the 80s he travelled extensively around the world documenting the vanishing nature of many countries such as Madagascar, Europe, Canada, Siberia, etc.. Renato sees his fundamental role as a photographer both as a conservationist and an artist . As a conservationist he was a regular contributor of Piemonte Parchi the best regional magazine in Italy devoted to parks and environment.
His many reportages and articles for the magazine have focused primarily on natural history and conservation effort in Italy. As an artist, he uses the warm richly textured light in  nature to capture on film intimate and often fleeting moments few of us can see.
After being involved for more than 30 years mainly in nature and travel photography , since the last 10 years he is more and more devoted to stock photography production. His image work is available through some stock photo agencies and is used all over the world.
After so many years spent in travelling  he now is more interested in studio photography. He thinks of the shoots as a collaborative effort and  likes to work with motivated people.
